Like I’m the only one who ever wanted this sacred deliciousness on a Sunday! How dare they shut down their business for religious reasons, okay, let me chill because everyone should be off on a Sunday. I’m just salty, but why be salty when you can skip the drive through and bring it on home!
Grands buttermilk biscuits
2-3 cups Flour
Frying pan with vegetable oil
1 small Watermelon
Littlehouse Homestyle Ranch
1 bottle of Wyder’s raspberry cider
Heat your frying pan with vegetable oil enough to submerge the chick on medium heat. Careful to not have your oil super hot because if it’s too hot, it can immediately burn the flour and stop you from having crispy golden chicken. Using three plates you will create an egg wash. One to season the chicken, two to use an egg wash to coat the chicken and three to flip it around in your flour mix.
Bake your grands biscuits in the oven and cut them in half. Prep your mini melon in slices to have as a healthy choice side along side your chicken and biscuits, try to make it a little less sinful lol.
Never mind, we’re adding more sin because here comes the hard raspberry cider. Sorry its Sunday but how can you say no?! Spread your ranch and cut your tomato slices, snap off some romaine and build your chicken sandwich, bomb!
**Pour a glass of Wyder’s raspberry cider and drop some fresh ones in to top it off! Enjoy this treat on a Sunday, get more for your money and save some gas. The cows will thank you.
Tis the season for fresh and funky and nothing says that more than a fusion taco. Unfortunately I can’t stay away from latin plates: tacos, burritos, enchiladas, I’m hooked. It’s just that the same flavors can get a little redundant at times. I found myself craving Gyu-Kaku Korean BBQ but my inner taco-tuesday sensors started to tingle too. Being on the fit tip doesn’t have to take up all of your free time. The goal is to have more time to get those squats in, run that extra lap, and lets be real, the point of an easy meal is to not have to work out in the kitchen. I personally rather you be in the gym or go outside. So lets cut this short. No excuses and straight to the point. Let’s go!
Squash and zucchini
Spices: Garlic sea salt, pepper, red chili flakes, Italian seasoning, and rub it on with squeeze of lime.
Wedding Crasher’s has to be one of the funniest movies and watching it over and over never gets old. It’s been funky weather going from rain to sun to rain to wind and its thrown me off so much I’ve lost the angst to cook daily! GASP! Maybe that was what I needed, something that I could make and that would last and be just as bomb as day 1, if not better by day 2. So I decided on none other than a hearty turkey meatloaf.
As if the new year hasn’t brought me enough great news I was also given one of the greatest gifts: a custom apron! It was created by none other than UrbanTradeMark, a Los Angeles based custom design hat and headwear company, that’s been seen on heads of Justin Beiber; DJ Drama; Fetty Wap; Chris Brown; Trey Songz; T.I.; Ray Shremurd and now as an apron for Street and Spice! I found out about this company years ago looking for a specific color way of the Detroit Pistons hat in teal and maroon and NO ONE seemed to have it. Following Tradition, a store at the Beverly Center on IG, I stumbled across a picture of my hat and damn near dropped my phone. I called the store immediately and told them to hold it because I was on my way, it was a done deal. While picking it up I was able to see all the hats and fine details up close and had to wonder who was behind this craftsmanship.
Since I’ve met the crew its been history and the team at U™ who encourages me and supports my dream is stuck with me for life. I couldn’t ask for better people to be around and I wish them nothing but the best of success. Did I mention I LOVE my apron?!
As far as this meatloaf goes, I’ll let the video tell you all about it.
