The Flotus Flower Bomb

Being a food blogger is pretty awesome. You get to create dishes and recipes, try new and exciting things and make statement plates and drinks that have your personality written all over it! Like food, fashion can be exactly that. So I’ve teamed up with Melissa Goodwin, awe-inspiring model and fashion blogger of to give you a series of three unique drinks inspired by her bright and flirty spring fashion looks!

[1:3] The Flotus

Cool cucumber and sweet pineapple, this hand crafted martini is something presidential. Inspired by bright spring floral prints of Melissa’s first look and a Lotus flower, this drink is perfect for a weekend in spring. Follow these simple directions below:

In an ice filled shaker, include respectively:

2oz Cucumber Vodka

1oz Midori

1.5oz Pineapple juice

Top and shake vigorously for 10seconds and strain into martini glass.

Add an extra float of Midori for added color and  top with a fresh cut flower as a springtime garnish.

For full outfit detail of her fun and flirty street style look, head over to her post for more. Wait until you see her shoes! Trust me, she’s my fashion muse.

Street team, stay tuned for more fun looks and delicious simple to make drinks, until next time!
