Being on the fit tip doesn’t have to take up all of your free time. The goal is to have more time to get those squats in, run that extra lap, and lets be real, the point of an easy meal is to not have to work out in the kitchen. I personally rather you be in the gym or go outside. So lets cut this short. No excuses and straight to the point. Let’s go!
Ingredients:
Salmon
Squash and zucchini
Brussel Sprouts
Baby carrots
1 Lime.
Spices: Garlic sea salt, pepper, red chili flakes, Italian seasoning, and rub it on with squeeze of lime.
Wrap your salmon and spices with a 1/2 cup of water in aluminum foil keeping the opening of the foil on top to allow the steam to escape slowly.
While your salmon is baking, chop your brussels sprouts and prepare them to be steamed.
Season your vegetables with salt, pepper and other spics to jazz up the flavor, here its anything goes, so have fun!
Heat it up! Add a little bit of water and allow your veggies to steam and become bright and vibrant.
Cut and season your squash medley and get ready to do the same.
With squash, the secret is to not turn them as much since when they’re heated/ steamed they tend to break and loose their form. So it’s important to use a light amount of olive oil to avoid them sticking to the pan.
Your salmon should be ready to serve in 15-20 min. You didn’t need to flip it or add anything else, just enjoy all your hard work, or lack there of lol.
yumm! Delicious and healthy!
